Jerilynn Hodson, 76, of Rossville, unexpectedly went Home on December 6, 2021 and is now rejoicing with Jesus. She was born on May 24, 1945 in Frankfort to John and Helen (Simmons) Dorner. She married Kenneth W. Hodson on February 14, 1985 in Rossville and he survives.
A lifelong Clinton County resident, Jerilynn was a 1963 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School. She was a telephone operator for Indiana Bell and a CNA at Milner’s Health Care for over 30 years. She was also Secretary for Hodson Plumbing & Heating, her husband’s business. She attended Living Stone Church and Rossville Bible Fellowship, where she was very involved in many areas. She loved her Lord and was active in many women’s groups at her church. She was in the Red Hat Society and was a Gold Lady. She was selfless and had a heart of gold. She enjoyed serving others by cooking and serving meals. Her family and grandchildren meant the world to her.
Surviving along with her husband: Ken are her Children: John (Shelley) Bowlin of Delphi, Stephanie (Larry) Rodkey of Frankfort, Melissa (Aaron) Nacke of Delphi, Suzann (David) Terry of Frankfort, David (Kelly) Hodson of Rossville, and Melissa (Gary) Ostler of Rural Frankfort; Grandchildren: Caleb Bowlin, Rachel (Capt. Tommy) Thompson, Jacob Bowlin, Courtney Rodkey, Chloe Rodkey, Taylor Nacke, Tori Nacke, Paige Terry, PayneTerry, Phoebe Terry, Alejandro Ostler, and Levi Ostler; Great-Grandson: Siggy Thompson; and Sister: Suzann (Ron) Wainscott of Mulberry. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Christine Barker.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Service will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
