Margaret F. Brown, 90, of Frankfort, died December 14, 2021 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital in Frankfort. She was born on December 21, 1930 in Hillisburg, Indiana to Henry F. “Jerry” and Margaret E. “Mag” (Edmonds) Huffer. She married Carl V. “Vic” Brown on October 14, 1978 and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1993.
Margaret attended Frankfort High School and was the first lady hired with Carr Cabinet Co. in Frankfort. She also worked for Mallory’s in Frankfort and provided in home health care. She was a member of Faith Family Church and had formerly been a member of the Women of the Moose and the Eagles Lodge. She was an avid bowler and loved participating in bowling leagues.
She is survived by her Daughter: Carleen Long of Frankfort; Brother: Teddy A. (Linda) Huffer of Burlington; Granddaughters: Ashley (Austin) Long-Miller and Whitney Long; Great-Grandsons: Kyler Miller and Jerric Spencer; And her faithful dog: Poppy. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Wilbur Huffer, and her great-granddaughter: Presley Long.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the funeral home. Pastor Ron Masters will officiate. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown. Memorial donations may be made in Margaret’s honor to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O.
