Harry W. Bushman

Harry W. Bushman, 92, of rural Frankfort, Ind. died May 6, 2022 at his home.  He was born November 25, 1929 in Frankfort to Clarence & Electa Hazel (Tedrick) Bushman.  He married Genevieve Bushman on August 5, 1951 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death on January 20, 2017.

Harry was a 1948 graduate of  Frankfort High School. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served from 1948-1952 during the Korean War.  He worked for Ameritech as an installer, repairman and supervisor over maintenance for 35 years, retiring in 1990.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.  Harry enjoyed woodworking, yardwork, fishing, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter:  Pam (Frank) Misner of Carbon, Ind., 2 sisters:  Barbara Rich of Frankfort and Vi Chilcott of Washington, special friend:  Pete, 5 grandchildren: Matthew (Sarah) Misner, Jamie (Nathan) Romig, Zach (Tiffany) Bushman, Michael (Lauren) Bushman and Angi Symons, 6 great-grandchildren: Braden, Brodie, Ellie, Joslyn, Birdie & Honey. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, David A. & Brad Bushman, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral Services:

 Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12 Noon, Monday, May 9, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Funeral service will begin at 12 Noon Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association or Guardian Angel Hospice.  Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com, where you may leave a message for the family.
