The Clinton County 4-H Fair will have its final Buddy Night at the fair Thursday night.
From 5-11 p.m., individuals can buy an unlimited rides bracelet for $25 and get one for a buddy for just $5. This event is also being held Thursday from 5-11 p.m. Pick-up your Buddy Night Sticker at any sponsoring location and redeem at the ticket booth.
Sponsors for the event are Susan Kaspar State Farm Insurance, The Fox Den along with Lehnen’s Furniture and Mattress in downtown Frankfort.
Also, the final day of the Bear Hollow Wood Carvers will Thursday. Shows will be at noon, 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. in front of Clinton Hall.
The CIS Livestock Arena will also be a busy spot Thursday with the Cat Show at 9 a.m., the Junior Leader Food Stand is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Lama Show starts at noon. The 4-H Project Building Open runs from 2-9 pm. at the Edward Jones 4-H Community Building and the Horse and Pony Contesting Show starts at 6 p.m. in the Horse Show Arena.
Highlights for Friday include the Lama Show beginning at 8 a.m. at the CIS Livestock Arena, Dan’s Fish Fry will be from 5-8 p.m. at the Edward Jones 4-H Community Building and the Supreme Showmanship competition will be at 7 p.m. at the CIS Livestock Arena along with the 10-year member recognition and awards.
