The Frankfort Police Department received a report of a kidnapping of a six-year-old female at approximately 11:14 a.m. Thursday. The victim described the suspect as a tall (at least 6 feet) thin build, clean shaven black male wearing shorts and a t-shirt. The suspect forced the victim to walk a city block from the victim’s house. In the area of Wabash between Van Buren and East, the victim was able to run back to her house. Her mother contacted the police.
After our initial post we are releasing a video of a person of interest. We would like to talk to the driver of this vehicle. It is the vehicle that stops and turns around in the intersection. If you recognize the vehicle, please contact our tip line 765-654-6480.
