David “Barry” King, 65, of Kirklin passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home. He was born November 16, 1952 in Clinton County to Robert and Imogene (Harris) King.
Barry was a 1971 Clinton Central School graduate and a United States Army Veteran. He was retired from Laborer’s Union 274, loved rock music and his puppy Lily.
Surviving family includes one son, Damian King and two grandsons, Kaleb and Jaxon, all of Kirlin; two brothers, Rick (Ann) King of Frankfort and J. Chris (Mary) King of Kirklin; two sisters, Cheryl Arion of Galveston and Cindy (Mike) Evans of Kirklin and former spouses Debra (Jenkins) Heberer and Darlene Marcantell.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gerald King.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Kirklin American Legion Post 310 (105 E Madison St, Kirklin, IN 46050) with Military Honors beginning at 5:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Barry may be made to Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
