Six girls from Clinton County will participate in the Semi State wrestling tournament at Muncie Central on Friday.
Four of the girls are from Clinton Prairie. They are freshman Hope Wheeler (155), junior Aries Day (140) junior Shelby Luper (135) and junior Kadie Fearnow (115).
The two girls from Frankfort are senior Ariana Sierra (105) and freshman Jocelyn Cruz (110).
At last week’s regional meet, Day, Luper and Sierra all finished first while the other three qualifiers were second.
If any of these girls finish in the top four of their weight class, they would qualify for the state meet next Friday (January 12) at Kokomo.
