The City of Delphi has announced that crews will begin conducting the annual hydrant flushing procedures today, April 22.
The annual hydrant flushing will begin today, April 22 and will continue until the end of May. Community members experiencing rusty water or discoloration in their water are instructed to allow every faucet to run for a few minutes or until normal color resumes to ensure that the water they procure in their residence is up to the standard quality.
The hydrant flushing will occur in the south end of Delphi from April 22 through May, and the hydrant flushing for the north end of Delphi will begin May 3 and extend through May 24.
