The Humane Society of Boone County announced the receipt of an unrestricted donation to the shelter that will be utilized flexibly to address the needs of the shelter as they arise.
The Humane Society released a statement of gratitude around 2:15 p.m. today for Kerry Kries, who presented a generous unrestricted donation to the shelter to support the shelter’s mission.
The organization stated that the donation allows for the flexibility to address the most urgent needs for its residents, such as providing medical care and food for the furry friends as well as enhancing the facilities and expanding community programs.
“With your kindness, we can continue to make a significant impact and ensure every pet has a chance at a loving home,” the organization released. “Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us create a brighter future for the animals in our care.”
