Dawn Marie Barker, 55, of Kokomo, Ind., died July 24, 2024 at her home, unexpectedly. She was born September 20, 1968 in Frankfort, Ind. to Milton E. & Teresa (Hall) Barker.
Dawn attended Frankfort Schools and received her GED. She was a homemaker and for many years worked until her health required her to slow down. She attended In His Image Church in Kokomo, and was a previous member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Dawn enjoyed fishing, puzzles, painting, attending concerts and spending time with Gary, including riding around in the wrecker with him.
She is survived by her sons: Danny (Da
wn) Barker of Frankfort, Sean Barker of Kokomo, father: Milton E. Barker of Frankfort, companion: Gary Bunce of Kokomo, sisters: Donna (Jeff) West of Frankfort, Angie (Rick Williams) Mullinax of Kokomo, grandchildren: Gage Barker, Gage Pitzer, Jaiden Pitzer, Logan Barker, Journee Preston, Kaitlyn Barker, Chylynn Hancock, Owen Hancock, and Jeremiah Hancock, 2 great-grandchildren, Myles Barker and Maxx Pitzer and niece and nephews: Chantel West, Austin West, Aaron Mullinax and Shane Mullinax. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents and brother-in-law, Jay Mullinax.
