Boone County Bites Heats Up This Saturday, Sept. 28

The Boone County Chamber of Commerce and Ideal Food Group announced that the Boone County Bites event is set for this Saturday, Sept. 28 for community members to experience a culinary extravaganza that promises to tantalize taste buds and ignite their senses.

The event is set to kick off this Saturday, Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the prestigious Cardinal Room at The Golf Club of Indiana, which will be transformed into a foodie paradise, which will showcase the finest flavors Boone County has to offer.

Community members are encouraged to explore the lineup of local vendors boasts a selection on savory and sweet creations, which the organizers guarantee will satisfy every craving. Boone County Executive Director Sean Reaves expressed his excitement for the event.

“We’re excited to celebrate the culinary superstars of Boone County,” Reaves said. “This event is about showcasing the amazing talent and passion within our community. Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and lively entertainment.”

The event has been made possible through a partnership of Ideal Food Group, Hickory Cottages Apartments, Boone County Magazine, First Farmers Bank & Trust, D-Patrick Lebanon Ford and Centra Credit Union.

Tickets for the event are $25, which will grant attendees with access to the tasting experience featuring all the participating vendors. Attendees will also receive complimentary bottled water from Culligan Water as well as soft drinks. Live music will be provided by Steve Trent, and community members may witness culinary magic firsthand at a live cooking demonstration by Tanorria Askew.

The event is for participants 21-years-old and above, and the organizers commented that the event would act as a perfect date day, girls’ getaway or a memorable outing with friends and family.

Tickets may be purchased online at BooneChamber.org or by visiting the Boone County Chamber Office. Tickets will be available for attendees at the door of the event, but the organizers stated that quantities will be limited.
