The Frankfort High School Student Council hosted a food drive last week that allowed for Suncrest Elementary School students to become involved with giving back to the community by collecting and counting cans that will be utilized to help those in need.
For Suncrest, the winners were announced as Mr. Parvin’s class taking first-place, followed by Ms. Kidwell’s class with second-place and Mrs. Ritchie’s class with third-place in the amount of cans collected.
The collected cans will be weighed, and a number of pounds collected will be announced to the community at a later date.
