Carroll County Economic Development Corporation Announces New Interim Director

The Carroll County Economic Development Corporation, with a partnership with RJL Solutions, has announced a new Interim Director for the organization following the departure of previous Director Jacob Adams.

Following the appointment of Adams by Governor Mike Braun to serve as the Director of the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs, the corporation sought a new Director for the role, which led to a partnership with RJL Solutions to install Jonathan Blake as the Interim Director as the partners continue to search for a full-time Executive Director. RJL Solutions specializes in strategic planning, advocacy and community development while helping organizations build influence and form meaningful connections.

Blake will bring over 20 years of experience in urban planning, project management and local government administration to the role. Throughout his career, he has led over $45.2 million in federally funded transportation projects and $90 million in public-private partnerships. Blake commented about his role as Interim Director as the corporation continues seeking a full-time candidate.

“RJL Solutions is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Carroll County Economic Development Corporation, and I am honored to serve as their interim executive director,” Blake said. “Carroll County has a strong foundation of economic growth, and I look forward to building relationships with the community and working together to foster new opportunities for the county’s future.”
