Boone County Solid Waste Management District has announced its Reuseable Family Tote program for community members to acquire a tote that they may reuse for a variety of reasons rather than adding plastic bag waste to the planet.
The tote may be used for big grocery store trips, moving to college, pool trips, zero waste picnics, sporting events and more.
The totes are available by contacting the district office or requesting the totes at boonecountysolidwaste.com/request-zero-waste-items.html.
There is a limit of two totes per family while supplies last.
