The United Way for Clinton County has announced the termination of the Volunteer Hub website due to a lack of participation on the website, stating that funds may be allocated elsewhere to better further the mission of the organization.
The organizations stated that redirecting the funds utilized to operate the website is expected to allow the team to conduct more meaningful work in the community, which coupled with the lack of engagement has led the organization to cement the decision to officially take down the website on April 30.
United Way for Clinton County will still offer volunteering opportunities, and community members are encouraged to still be as involved as possible with the organization and other local organizations.
