The Town of Flora has announced the dates for the spring drop-off clean-up program that is available for Flora residents only with a date set in April and three in May.
The Town stated that proof of residency will be required, and no curbside pickup will be available. Dumpsters will be located at the maintenance shop at 501 N. Division for drop during the set dates.
Flora Spring Clean Up Dates:
- Wednesday, April 29: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, May 1: 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, May 2: 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, May 3: 8 a.m. to noon
Accepted Items:
- Large appliances
- stoves
- washers
- dryers
- dishwashers
- water heaters
- water softeners
- microwaves
- Freezers and refrigerators
- compressors must be removed and freon must be removed and have a tag from a certified technician
- Large furniture
- couches
- chairs
- tables
- mattresses
- bed frames
- dressers
- lamps
- end tables
- Carpet and padding
- must be cut to six feet and tied
- Bagged trash
- cans
- paper
- small miscellaneous items that are considered household junk
- Dry paint cans with the lids off
