Robert W. “Bob” Weaver, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, in Estero, Florida. Born on November 6, 1938, in Frankfort, Indiana, Bob was the cherished son of William G. and Alice E. (Cruea) Weaver.
Bob’s life was defined by his devotion to family and his passion for classic cars. He married the love of his life, Virginia (Pillion) Weaver, on August 31, 1957, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Bob was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, and his warm spirit and kind heart touched everyone he met.
After proudly serving Chrysler for 31 years in Kokomo, Indiana, Bob embraced retirement with joy, often attending antique car shows where he found camaraderie and shared his love for classic automobiles. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others, sharing stories and laughter that left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.
Bob leaves behind his beloved wife, Virginia, and their two children: son Mike (wife Jeni) Weaver of Monticello, Indiana, and daughter Debbie (husband Tom) Wethington of Rossville, Indiana. He also leaves his loving sister, Nancy Cassidy of Ohio, and brother Bill Weaver of Frankfort, Indiana, along with four adoring grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who will carry his legacy forward.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: sister Norma Jean Siebert and brothers Ernest Meives and Bernard Weaver.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 12 noon to 2 PM at Goodwin Funeral Home, located at 200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN.
