Sally Lynn Taylor, 86, of Frankfort Indiana went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Sally was born on September 28, 1939, in Clinton County to Paul Morland and Lois (Nunnally) Douglas Weaver. She attended Frankfort schools and was a 1957 graduate of Scircleville High School.

Sally was married to James E. Taylor on January 21,1961. They had four daughters, Holly, Melissa, Jamie, and Jessica. Sally cherished her 13 grandchildren and enjoyed going to their sporting and school events. She also loved flowers and plants, talking politics, and Westerns. Her love for her family was only superseded by her love for Jesus Christ. She grew to love Jesus more through the investment of many wonderful women at the Alpha and Omega Bible study that she attended for 40 years.
In addition to her husband of 65 years, she is survived by her four daughters. Holly (Steve) Ringler of Liberty Township Ohio, Melissa (Douglas) Ogle of Warsaw, Indiana, Jamie (Scott) Long of Winona Lake, Indiana, and Jessica (David) Dygert of Brownsburg, Indiana. Grandchildren include Courtney (Will) Thrasher, Taylor (Faith) Long, Chase (Kelsey) Ringler, Cendall (Seth) Murphy, Creigh (Eli) Graham, Madison (Danilo) Carnelos, Hannah (Kyle) Hamlin, Grant (Taylor) Ringler, Gunner Dygert, Peyton Long, Chloé Dygert, Bailey (Caleb) Simmons, and Kailyn (Collin) Laflen. Sally was also blessed with 24 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her sister MaryNell Hiatt of Rossville, sister in-law Linda Seibert, and brother in-law Ronald Bell both of Frankfort and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Fred Weaver, sister Nancy Bell, and brother in-law Jack Hiatt.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-12 Noon, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, before the celebration of life service which will be held 12 Noon at the funeral home. Dr. Chase Ringler will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
