The Rossville boys basketball team advanced to Regionals after winning the Sectional Championship against Bethesda Christian on Saturday.
The Hornets will play their Regional game at Frankfort’s Case Arena on Saturday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m.
Rossville will take on North Vermillion, who defeated Lafayette Central Catholic 69-53 in the Sectional 53 Championship on Saturday at Fountain Central.
The Falcons of North Vermillion are 15-11, finishing third in the Wabash River Conference.
It will be the third-ever matchup between Rossville and North Vermillion in the State Tournament. The first came in 1969, when Rossville defeated the Falcons in Semistate, 90-74, before falling to Gary Tolleston. The second matchup came in 2024 during Sectionals, when North Vermillion took down the Hornets 52-35.
Rossville is in search of its sixth Regional Championship, its first since 2002.
North Vermillion’s first and only Regional Championship came in 1969 before falling to the Hornets at Semistate.
