Lisa Dawn Sellers, 62, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born, February 25, 1964, in Wabash to Lowell and Maxine “Mary” (Stackhouse) Sellers.
Lisa was a graduate of Southwood Jr./Sr. High School. She worked several jobs over her years, including several factories and as a manager of Family Dollar in Peru. Lisa was an avid video gamer, going fishing, watching Anime and K-pop, writing in her notebooks and making nail art. She also was very interested in flowers and geology, and collected gems and stones. She was a strong-willed, independent woman that was very creative. You always knew where you stood with her. And to those that meant the most to her, she loved strong and hard.
Lisa is survived by her children, Kyla (Fiancé, Anthony Clarkson II) Sellers and Derek McCord; sister, Mia Miller; grandchildren, Wynter and Jarith; and niece and nephew, Candace Akin and Dustin Sellers, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; brother Donald “Donny” Sellers and infant Randall Sellers.
