Julia Ann Pearcy, 76, of Frankfort passed away on August 12, 2026 at Mulberry Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mulberry, Indiana. She was born January 17, 1950 in Frankfort to Francis W. Miller and Helen Ruth Esther (Oliver) Creamer. She married Steven J. Pearcy on August 18, 1974 and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2013.
As a child, Julia was a part of The Miller Trio with her brother David and sister Diane. The trio sang between 1957-1962 on the radio and on the Curly Myers TV show. Julia was a 1968 graduate of Clinton Central High School. She dedicated much of her career to emergency medical services, serving as an EMT and working closely with first responders and in crisis management. She served as the State Director of EMT Training and Certification, helping to train and prepare emergency medical professionals throughout Indiana. She later became Director of Ambulance Services at St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she continued her commitment to emergency care and the first responder community. She was a member of Mulberry United Methodist. In her free time, Julia enjoyed playing games on her computer and watching Hallmark movies.
Surviving are her daughters, Heather (Bobbi) Pearcy of Frankfort and Stephanie Pearcy of Terre Haute; two grandchildren, Jacob (Hailey) Austin of Frankfort and Katelyn (Armand) Eaton of Frankfort; four great-grandchildren, Quinn, Ryden, Olivia, and Mazelee; her brothers, Jim Miller of Missouri and David (Ginny) Miller of Sun City Center, Florida; her sisters, Diane (Mark) Walker of Frankfort and Mary Lou (Dan) Clendenning of Mulberry; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Esther; her brother, Lynn Miller; her sister Karen Hibbard; and nephews, Michael Miller, Aaron Walker and Paul Miller.
Friends and family may visit Tuesday, August 18th from 2-4 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 4 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort, IN, 46041. Burial will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery at a later time. Goodwin Funeral Home and the Clinton County Crematory are honored to assist the Pearcy family.
