Chad A. Bottoms, 43, of Frankfort, passed away on August 20, 2026 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born March 11, 1983 to Gerald K. Bray and Tina Bottoms in Lafayette. He married Kecia Calloway June 8, 2007 in Frankfort, and she survives.
Chad attended Frankfort High School and later received his GED. He was a lifelong resident of Frankfort and was self-employed as an auto mechanic in town. Chad attended Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to spending time with his family, Chad loved his automobiles. He spent time at the Anderson Speedway and also loved working on his ’88 Cutlass GT.
Surviving are: his wife, Kecia; his daughters, Izabellah Reifel of Clarksville and Brayleigh Bottoms of Frankfort; his son, Braeden Bottoms of Frankfort; his step-daughter, Isabelle Abbott of Ft. Wayne; his step-son, Zachary Abbott of Frankfort; his mother, Tina Bottoms of Frankfort; his sister, Shauna Walker of Frankfort; his brothers, Jeramy Bottoms and Chance Coomer, both of Frankfort; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald, and his grandparents.
