Margarita Vidales Barrios, 79, of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018, at her home. She was born January 22, 1939, in Mexico, to Manuel Vidales and Manuela Bonilla. On February 15, 1960, she married Juan C. Barrios; he survives.
In 1974, she and Juan moved to Frankfort. Margarita was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a welcoming personality who never knew a stranger. Margarita was the center of the family circle and was a giving, caring, and loving person who will be sadly missed by all.
In addition to her husband, Margarita is survived by her children, Oralia Bazan, Chela Barrios-Milton, Fernando Barrios, Agustin Barrios, Refugio Barrios, and Juan J. Barrios; brothers and sister, Pedro Grande, Federico, Pedro Chico, Natalia, Goyo, and Raymundo; 26 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Margarita is preceded in death by her parents, sons, Luis J. Barrios and Arnulfo Barrios; two daughter, Alicia Barrios and Maria de Jesus; sisters, Eulalia and Guadalupe; and brother, Benjamin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Frankfort, with Fr.
