Clinton Prairie High School senior-to-be David Albaugh was named the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion winner of the Poultry Show at the Clinton County 4-H Fair Monday.
This is Albaugh’s ninth year in 4-H. He was also named as Master Showman.
Asked his reaction, Albaugh said, “It feels OK. I take care of them, feed them the proper food, clean their pens and wash them.”
Albaugh was also asked what is he looking for when picking his bird for the fair.
“The best looking bird,” he said. “You find the picture of the best looking bird with feathers, their comb and everything and try to emulate that.”
