Alpha Cozetta “Coe” Lewis, 93, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Stacy Fork, KY on September 3, 1924 to the late Preston and Mary (Scaff) Lacy. She was a 1941 graduate of Morgan County High School. Coe worked as a Private Duty Nurse at Wesley Manor for 15 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She married the late, Howard P. Lewis August 3, 1947. He preceded her in death July 28, 1967.
She is survived by her son, Sonny (Donna) Lewis of Franklin, OH; brother, Robert Lacy of FL; sister, Annette Gay Light; two grandchildren, Shelley (Adam) Baker and Nicole Paglialonga, three great grandchildren, Evie, Payton and Blake Baker and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Jerry Lewis; brothers, Rex, Stewart, Ray, Elsworth, Preston Jr., and Lawrence Lacy; and sisters, Daisy Jones, Blanche Lacy, and Bertha Holt.
Visitation will be from Tuesday, February 20, 2018, 11am until the time of the service at 1pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
