The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that alternating single-lane closures and a ramp closure will occur on I-65 in Lebanon next week into November.
Beginning on or after next Monday, Oct. 7, one lane will close at a time on I-65 northbound and I-65 southbound over Prairie Cree near mile marker 140. The northbound entrance ramp at mile marker 140, known as State Road 32, will also close during this time. During the closures, crews are expected to conduct bridge maintenance in the area.
The department estimated that work will last until mid-November depending on the weather conditions during the construction period, and the final date of construction has not been set due to its possibility of change.
The department encouraged drivers to exercise additional caution in the area and to avoid distracted driving, especially when workers are present.
