Angel R. Turrubiate-Solis, 44, of Frankfort passed away on December 25, 2024 at his home. He was born August 18, 1980 in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico to Angel Turrubiate & Silvia Solis.
Angel lived in Sant Ana, CA until he was 16 years old and was a high school graduate. He had also lived in Clearwater FL and Elizabethtown, KY. He was a plant manager of Frankfort Plastics. Angel was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed dancing, music, traveling, the beach, was known to be very adventurous, very business savvy and loved to celebrate with big parties. He was known as a foodie and enjoyed trying new foods, restaurants and giving his professional opinion on them.
Angel is survived by his mother, Silvia Solis of Lexington, KY, father, Angel Turrubiate of California, brother, Christopher Turrubiate of Frankfort, sister, Lidia Turrubiate-Solis (Leonardo Juarez) of Rockhill, SC, grandmother, Eulogia Salazar, aunt, Norma Christian, uncle, Hector Solis all of Lexington, KY and nephew Jaime Carrillo of SC. He is also survived by his best friend and companion dog, Okie. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra P Turrubiate-Solis.
A service will begin at 4 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Father Paul Cochran will officiate.
