Anna Belle Eller, 96, of Rossville, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022, at Milner Community Health Care.
Anna Belle was born August 7, 1926, in Flora, the daughter of Eldo J. and Leta M. (Royer) Shively. On May 5, 1956, she married Clarence Eller, who passed away January 27, 1996.
Attending Pyrmont Grade School and Rossville High School, Anna Belle lived the majority of her life in the Pyrmont and Flora communities. She moved to Milner Community Health Care in Rossville in 2013. She had worked in Flora in the office at the Flora Furniture Factory, Capehart Radio, and Wayne Loan. She also did house cleaning for others. Making quilts at the Brethren Home in Flora, cooking, sewing, and walking around the Flora Park brought her joy, but her most loved career was being a homemaker and raising her family.
Anna Belle was a member of Bachelor Run Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Surviving Anna Belle is her daughter, Rebecca (Van) Taylor; stepchildren, Janette (Gene) Yost and Dr. Alvan (Arlene) Eller; grandchildren, Susanna Taylor and Will Taylor; step-grandchildren, Jim (Bonnie) Yost, Jerald (Margaret) Yost, Greg (friend, Leslie Ainley) Yost, Debbie Smith, and Cathy Eller; 13 step-great-grandchildren 20 step-great-great-grandchildren; nephews, Joel (Sandi) Ivie and Michael (LaDonna) Ivie; nieces, Linda (Leon) Welk and Joyce Shively. Several special first cousins and friends will also miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-grandson, Dr. Doug Eller; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Catherine and Joe Ivie; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Helen Shively; and a nephew, Larry Shively.
Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Rossville. There will also be a visitation on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Bachelor Run Old German Baptist Brethren Church, on State Road 18, Flora, from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery.
