Annabelle P. Wilson, 85, of Frankfort, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at her home. She was born November 20, 1935, in Frankfort, to Floyd and Marcella E. Patterson Primmer. On May 28, 1955, she married Lloyd L. Wilson; he preceded her in death on June 10, 1985.
Annabelle graduated from Frankfort High School in 1953. She had worked at National Cigar, Stark and Wessel, and Hook’s Drug Store in Frankfort. Annabelle was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday school for many years and also enjoyed attending the New Beginning Church. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge and had served as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader. Annabelle enjoyed babysitting for numerous children throughout the years, painting ceramics, collecting antiques, and taking pictures. She loved her cats Lucy and Mister and loved traveling the world with her family and friends. Annabelle was known for her wonderful sense of humor, loving and caring personality, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Annabelle is survived by a son, Timothy (Wife, Martha) Wilson of Kirklin; daughter, Cheryl L. Wilson Carpenter (Kevin Stephens) of Frankfort; son-in-law, Darrell Birge of Frankfort; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Annabelle is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd L. Wilson, and a daughter, Wanda Birge.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Trinity United Methodist Church 806 N. Columbia St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorials in Annabelle’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
