Anthony “Tony” D. Wilhite, 72, of Frankfort, passed away September 8, 2026 peacefully surrounded by family at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born December 3, 1953 to Burnell and Louise (McClellan) Wilhite in Indianapolis, Indiana. He married Pamela Chandler on June 21, 1975 and she survives.
Tony was a 1972 Crawfordsville High School graduate. He attended Purdue University and received his Tech Certificate in 1992. He worked in restaurant management during his life. Tony attended First Baptist Church in Frankfort. He enjoyed watching Westerns and The Big Bang Theory as well as reading and playing cards. His favorite game was Euchre. Tony especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: his wife, Pamela; his son, Ora Allen (Jessica) Wilhite of Frankfort; his daughter-in-law, Karen Wilhite of Frankfort; his granddaughter, Macy Elizabeth Wilhite of Frankfort; his grandsons, Zachary (Haiven) Smith of St. Louis, Missouri and Isaiah Wilhite of Frankfort; his sister, Tina Cotten; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Burnell and Louise; his son, Jason Anthony Wilhite; two brothers; and one sister.
