The Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department has announced that due to recent and anticipated flooding, a few areas of the parks and trail system will be temporarily closed for the safety of the public.
The temporarily closed areas are Big-4 Rail Trail from Bloor Lane through Mulberry Tunnel, Turkeyfoot Nature Park, Lower Elm Street Garden, Lower Starkey Park, Creekside Nature Park, Creekside Corporate Park and Overley-Worman Park.
Community members are asked not to enter flooded areas or bypass barricades and signage. The parks team is monitoring conditions, and the areas will be reopened once they are deemed safe.
