Artist Call Out: Frankfort Library’s 40th Fine Art Exhibition & Sale

The Friends of the Frankfort Library are proud to present their 40th Annual Fine Art Exhibition & Sale November 13-15. The artists selected for the show are by invitation only from the Frankfort Community Public Library and are based on artist applications submitted for jurying. If you wish to be considered for the 2020 show, please send the following information to Susie Blackmore, Marketing & Art Manager, at [email protected] by April 30:

  1. Artist name, business name, and contact info (email, mailing address, phone, website, social media).
  2. Artist statement and brief bio.
  3. 3-5 images of your recent work with descriptions (size, medium, title) and price.
  4. Are you a returning artist? If so, what year(s) have you participated?

There is no application fee to apply. All 2D and 3D mediums are welcome to apply: Glass, woodworking, sculpture, jewelry, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, mixed media, textiles, etc.

Accepted 3D artists will receive a 4’, 6’, or 8’ table on which to sell their work. Accepted 2D artists are invited to hang up to three pieces of art in the gallery, and have one browse bin for smaller original works or signed and numbered prints. All sales go through the Friends of the Frankfort Library, who retain a 30% commission. Money raised goes back into arts and children’s programs at the library including Clinton County Youth Theatre and the Annual Concert Series.
