The Lafayette Symphony Orchestra’s B-Side Series continues this spring with B-Side, Track 5: (Re)Light a Fuse, a dynamic performance blending rock, pop, and jazz fusion. Set for Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Rat Pak Venue, this electrifying concert brings together LSO musicians José Valencia (electric violin), Jordan Simmons (bass), and Brandon Lee (drums) with guest artists Terence Mayhue (keys) and Jeannie Mayhue (vocals) for a set that crosses genres and reimagines familiar favorites.

Their 2023 B-Side performance featured an eclectic mix of artists, including Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Herbie Hancock, Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, A-ha, Post Malone, and even 50 Cent as performed by The Dan Band. This year’s program promises another exciting blend of rock and jazz, including hits by Britney Spears, Joan Jett, and Three Dog Night.

Known for its relaxed, informal setting, the B-Side Series offers a one-hour performance with no intermission, a cash bar, and general admission seating. Designed to highlight the creativity of LSO musicians outside the traditional concert hall, each B-Side performance offers a fresh take on live music in an intimate venue. All ages are welcome to attend.

The B-Side Series is presented with generous support from Gene and Linda Marshall.

Tickets for Track 5: (Re)Light a Fuse are $15 general admission. For more information or to purchase advance tickets, visit lafayettesymphony.org or call 765-742-6463.
