Bacon Fest Returns Tomorrow: Get Your $10 Wristband at “We Love big Deals”

The smell of sizzling bacon will once again fill the streets of downtown Delphi tomorrow as the 13th Annual Indiana Bacon Festival brings food, music and family fun to the community for a full day of celebration.

Held in the heart of Delphi’s historic Downtown Square and Central Plaza, the festival has become a popular tradition, drawing visitors from across the region to enjoy what organizers describe as “Bacon, Bands & Brew.”

At the center of the celebration is, of course, bacon. More than 15 food vendors will be serving up creative bacon-inspired dishes, showing just how many ways the popular food can be incorporated into everything from savory meals to sweet treats.

But the festival is about much more than food.

Music will be a major part of the day, with live performances throughout the festival and tribute acts celebrating legendary groups including Queen and ABBA. Regional musicians will also take the stage, providing entertainment throughout the day.

For those looking to relax and sample some beverages, the Brew Garden will feature Indiana craft beers and wines. Families can head to the Kids Zone, where younger festivalgoers can enjoy games and activities.

The festival also brings plenty of competition and excitement. The Bacon Eating Contest is always a crowd favorite, while the Backyard BBQ Cook-Off gives competitors a chance to show off their grilling and barbecue skills.

The festival’s location in downtown Delphi adds another element to the experience. Visitors can take in the city’s historic architecture, browse local businesses and enjoy the scenic Wabash River before, during or after the festival

The Indiana Bacon Festival has grown into a cherished tradition for Delphi and the surrounding area, thanks in large part to the support of its presenting sponsor, Indiana Packers Corporation, along with the many sponsors and community members who help make the event possible.
