Barbara Ann Larson, 95, of Frankfort passed away November 29, 2020 at IU Health Frankfort Hospital. She was born on September 21, 1925 in Clinton County to Walter and Bethel (Haslet) Dobson. She married Paul E. Larson on August 18, 1945 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2019.
Barbara was a 1943 graduate of Jackson High School and was a farmer’s wife and stay at home mom. She was a member of Geetingsville Presbyterian Church, where she was a part of several ladies’ organizations. She loved to play Euchre, Bridge, and Pinochle and was a member of the “Sunday Night Club”.
Surviving are her Sons: Ron (Cheryl) Larson of Frankfort and J.B. Larson of Lafayette; Daughter: Jill (Ron) Blackwell of Williamsport; Sister: Phyllis Imel of Frankfort; Grandchildren: Gretchen (Randy) Welk, Griffin (Kevin) Morgan, Greg Larson, Jessie Blackwell, and Robin Blackwell; Great-Grandchildren: Grady and Cooper Welk. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Paul, sister: Martha Inlow, and her brothers-in-law: Bill Inlow and Ralph Imel.
In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, no services are planned. Burial will take place in Geetingsville Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s honor to the Geegingsville Presbyterian Church, 2037 East State Road 26, Frankfort.
