Becky L. Durbin, 83 of Flora, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at IU Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born September 13, 1938, in Indianapolis, to Wendell Arthur and Dorothy Lucille (Oxley) McClure. On June 23, 1956, she married George E. Durbin at the Christian Church in Sheridan, IN.
Becky was a 1956 graduate of Sheridan High School. She retired from Delco in Kokomo and attended Valley View Baptist Church in Flora. Becky was a talented artist, enjoyed traveling, watching westerns, Elvis, and figure skating, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time at her many family get-togethers and was known for making the best macaroni and cheese.
In addition to her husband, Becky is survived by her children, George “Rocky” (Karla) Durbin of Cutler, Tamara (Steve) Whetstine of Vincennes, and Kent Durbin of Cutler; sisters, Sharlene Carol (Robert) Wills of Colfax and Judith Ann Weinantz of New Palestine; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald Lee McClure, Larry Dean McClure, Edwin Joseph McClure, and John Richard Ogle; and a sister Cynthia Sue Hufford.
