Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing Workshop Set for April and May

Community members looking to strengthen their grant writing skills will have the opportunity this spring through an upcoming workshop hosted by Purdue Extension – Clinton County.

The two-day Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing workshop is designed for beginners and intermediate writers who want to build or refresh their proposal development skills. Participants will learn practical strategies for identifying funding sources, organizing strong proposals, and refining their ideas. By the end of the program, attendees will walk away with a completed proposal outline, valuable resources, and tools to confidently pursue funding opportunities.

The workshop will be held on April 21 and May 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (ET) at 1111 S. Jackson St., Frankfort. The cost is $225, which includes all materials and lunch for both days.

In an exciting opportunity for early registrants, the first 10 individuals to sign up will receive a full scholarship to attend at no cost, thanks to generous support from the Clinton County Community Foundation.

Whether working on behalf of a nonprofit organization, community group, or new initiative, this workshop offers the guidance and structure needed to turn ideas into fundable proposals. Registration information will be available soon.
