Bernie was a social guy who never knew a stranger, only friends he hadn’t met yet. His story-telling, jokes, and shenanigans will be missed by those who knew him.
In his later years, Bernie loved making new friends over drinks at the American Legion. He enjoyed rewatching old westerns and nature documentaries as he sipped coffee and ate sweets at breakfast. Chocolate turtles and peppermint bark were his favorites.
