Betty J. Harshman, 88, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
Born October 6, 1933, in Tipton, Betty was the daughter of Delton and Edna (Tishnor) McGill. She married Marvin Harshman in 1954, and he preceded her in death in 1987.
Betty attended Frankfort schools. Her career included working at Essex Wire, Harmeson Manufacturing, and Wesley Manor. She was a member of Victory Chapel Church and enjoyed activities at Paul Phillippe Resource Center and doing jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving Betty are her children, Marvin Harshman, Larry Harshman, Benson “Benny” Harshman, Janie Cox, and Sue Ann Harshman all of Frankfort; brother, John (Judith) McGill of Frankfort; sister, Naomi McGill of Frankfort; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, John Joe; three brothers; and six sisters.
Graveside services will be on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 3 p.m. at the Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort with Pastor Jim Meek officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
