Betty Lou Brown, 80, of Spencer, Ind. and formerly of Frankfort, passed away October 9, 2023 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1942 in Frankfort to Ralph and Beulah (Laflen) Martin. She married Lawrence O. Goff in 1960 and they later divorced. She then married Garrett Brown on August 28, 1987 in Clinton County and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2018.
Betty attended Forest Schools. She had worked at the Frankfort Nursing Home and then worked in the greenhouse and in produce at Prairie Stream Farms, retiring in 2004. She loved sewing, gardening, working with her flowers, fishing, and loved being outdoors.
Surviving are her Children: Michael (Elizabeth) Goff of Kirklin, Deanna (Jeffrey) Bryan of Spencer, and Mark (Theresa) Goff of Williamsport; Siblings: Steven Martin of Michigantown and Patricia Sorling of Frankfort; 8 Grandchildren; and 10 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son: Brian Goff, and siblings: Connie Martin, Robert Martin, and Dan Martin.
In accordance with Betty’s wishes, no services will be held. She will be laid to rest in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 E.
