Beverly Ann Louks, 89, of Frankfort, passed away January 28, 2026 in Frankfort, Indiana. She was born December 4, 1936 in Cayuga, Indiana to the late Louis Arnold Gephart Sr. and Helen (Cripe) Gephart. She married the love of her life Paul “Bud” Louks on June 27, 1953 in Kokomo and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2007.
Beverly was a 1955 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had worked at Carrolls Card Shop, Dr. Hiland Veterinary Clinic, Frankfort Termite & Pest Control, Wal-Mart and ran The Dog House, a boarding/grooming business at her home. Beverly was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed many things in life like, sewing, shopping, gardening, and canning, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Beverly will be dearly missed by her daughters, Gayla (Richard) McCoy of Frankfort, Sherry Broyles of Frankfort, Andrea Chappelle of St. Simons Island, Georgia, son, David Louks of Frankfort, sister, Sarah (William) Brown of Indianapolis, grandchildren, Robert & Jeremy McCoy, Nicole, Cody and Matt Smith, Jason & Shayna Louks and Haley Chappelle, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchild, and 6 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 great-grandson, Brycin Peter Louks, sister, Barbara Gephart, brother Louis Gephart Jr., sister, Rebecca Gephart and 1 great great- grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. A graveside service and burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.
