Beverly Jeanne Ellison, 83, of rural Mulberry, died August 7, 2021 at Mulberry Health. She was born July 27, 1938 in Lafayette, Ind. to Jacob & Katherine (King) Gertzen. She married CA Ellison on January 11, 1958 in Lafayette and he survives.
Beverly attended grade school at Seventh Day Adventist in Lafayette and was a 1957 graduate of Indiana Academy, Cicero, Ind. She had worked at the Mulberry Grocery Store and Purdue University, retiring from there in 2003. Beverly enjoyed flowers, bird watching, canning, chickens, collecting eggs, games, playing cards and crocheting. She made afghans for all the grandchildren and the great grandchildren, and loved spending time with them. She and CA loved to watch the cars go by on SR 38 while sitting in their garage.

Lafayette, Jack (Sue) Gertzen of Oregon, Donald Gertzen of Lafayette, 2 Sisters: Betty Chalmers of Lafayette, Helen Ferro of Lafayette, 9 Grandchildren, Rob Harris, Elisha Surber, Carl Marty, Jake Marty, Jacqueline Kelly, Jillian Oppenheim, Cathryn Ellison, Evan Marty and Caroline Ellison and 6 Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ellison, Karligh, Taylor, Colton and Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Kevin Smith, of the Mulberry United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fair Haven Cemetery, Mulberry.
