The Frankfort community and their dogs are invited to be a part of the celebration at the Mary Jane McMahon Dog Park on Saturday, September 10 starting at 11 a.m. at Dorner Park.
Local FFA students will be assembling new agility equipment for the dogs. Residents are more than welcome to bring their own dogs to the park which will have a fence installed showing where the large and small dogs can come.
The dog park will be in the first phase of the project during this time as there are many more items that will be added such as more benches, shade trees, signage, mulch area and so much more.
There is a lot planned for the Mary Jane McMahon Dog Park, which is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2023.
