Bikers Ride For Alisha

Alisha Walters is fighting leukemia but not alone. As the T-shirts being sold today say “In This Family No One Fights Alone”

Alisha’s family and friends Bill and Virginia Scott and many others put together a fantastic day of events to gather funds for Alisha and family as she continues to battle this evil disease. Alisha has had to give up her job and needs community help. That is what Kirklin does.

The day started out with a Poker Run with about 75 bikers and some automobiles paying their fee and signing wavers coming and leaving out in a very safe distancing order because of Covid. The bikers left out in small groups to run so not to have too many people in one place at any time.

The bikers returned to Kirklin Park around 5 p.m. for a Hog Roast, beer garden and raffle items, The band started at 6 p.m. Russ Bucy and friends, Penthouse Suite.

All Proceeds go to Alisha Walters and her family to help her battle Leukemia.

Anyone wanting to donate to Alisha’s cause can do so by stopping by Gear Headz Auto Repair and donate or purchase a T-shirt for $20.00
