Billy R. Morgan, 64, of Kirklin, Ind., died unexpectedly June 28, 2022 at UHS Wilson Hospital, Johnson City, NY. He was born January 2, 1958 in Indianapolis to the late Calvin Coolidge & Mary Helen (Hurt) Morgan. He married Valerie Pinder on February 27, 1982 in Indianapolis and she survives.
Bill grew up in Indianapolis and moved to Kirklin in 1987. He was a construction superintendent working for Shamrock Development out of South Bend, Ind. and had worked in construction for 30 years. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, grilling, motorcycles, being outside and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed the Indianapolis 500 and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.
He is survived by his wife: Valerie Morgan of Kirklin, 3 sons: Sean (Kelly) Morgan of Fortville, Ind., Christopher (Kendra) Morgan of Lafayette, Brandon Morgan of Florida, 2 grandsons: Colton Benjamin Morgan and Bailin Ellis Morgan, brother: David Morgan of Indianapolis, 2 sisters: Patricia Hurley of Wisconsin and Tammy Johnson of Indiana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Snow and a brother, Aaron Morgan
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 11 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery, Kirklin, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to Indiana DNR, envelopes will be available.
