The Frankfort Board of Works approved on second reading additional appropriations in addition to a salary ordinance. Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets says a little over 6 thousand was for three full time employees for the street department and 50 thousand for transfer fees. Officials also approved downtown parking contracts on North Columbia, West Clinton, and North Jackson streets. The Frankfort Board of Works also approved a request from Police Chief Scott Shoemaker on a request to purchase new software to help with payroll. Mayor Judy Sheets says if this works well, they could implement it into all departments. The cost of the software is 2, 285 dollars.
