Body Located in White River Identified as Indianapolis Man

The unidentified body located in the White River just north of the State Road 144 Bridge on June 2 has been identified through an autopsy as Terrance Williams of Indianapolis by Morgan County Coroner Annette Burcher on Tuesday.

Williams has been missing since May 25 when he was last observed floating alongside his capsized canoe in the White River north of 16th Street near the Lake Indy boat ramp.

Burcher has preliminarily identified the cause of death to be drowning.
