Frankfort Municipal Utilities has issued a boil water advisory following a water main break in the city.
According to Frankfort Water Works, 23 customers are affected. The advisory applies to residents located on Central Avenue between West Green Street and Circle Park.
Affected customers have been notified to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and oral hygiene purposes until further notice.
Frankfort Water Works crews are addressing the issue, and the advisory will remain in effect until water service is fully restored and safety testing is completed.
