Frankfort Water Works has announced that contractor crews have completed their water main work activity on Friday and the water mains have been flushed and tested. This means your tap water is now safe to use for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food.
Water Works recommend that you open your kitchen sink cold water tap and allow your water to run for about 10 minutes to clear your water service line all the way out to our water main.
Advisory remains in effect for Columbia between Hackett Street and White Street as well as White Street between South Jackson and First Street.
