The Frankfort Water Works announced Wednesday that the Boil Water Advisory for certain residences on Washington Avenue and Adkins Drive has been lifted.
Contractor crews have completed their main work activity and the water mains have been flushed and tested. Your tap water is now safe to use for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and preparing food.
It is recommended that you open your kitchen sink cold water tap and allow your water to run for about 10 minutes to clear your water service line all the way out to the water main.
